Watch 70-year-old woman freak out behind wheel of self-driving car
There are many people who don’t always feel comfortable when they’re not the one at the controls of a vehicle.
This 70-year-old mother, driving a Tesla Model S with her son William Rimmer in the passenger seat, is seemingly one of those individuals, as made evident in the video above in which she reacts after the car is put into Autopilot mode.
According to Electrek, the video was initially uploaded to YouTube by Rimmer but has since been made private. However, Carbuzz then picked up the video on its Facebook page on Thursday and it went viral.
Electrek recommends keeping your hands on the wheel if you ever find yourself in a similar situation, as it gives you a better sense of control and quicker reaction time in case you ever need to jerk the wheel and override the autonomous control.
