Upcoming memoir on the late Dan Wheldon to benefit charities

A new book paying tribute to the late Dan Wheldon will be published in May of this year and will soon be available for pre-order.
“Lionheart – Remembering Dan Wheldon” is a 216-page book written and produced by Andy Hallbery and Jeff Olson which will chronical the life of the 2005 IndyCar Series champion.
Featuring interviews with Dario Franchitti, Jenson Button, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson and many others who knew Wheldon on and off the track, the book covers Wheldon’s career from his beginning days in karts to his final days in IndyCar in 2011, in which he won his second Indianapolis 500.
The book will be available to pre-order soon, and is priced at $74.99 with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association and the DCW Foundation.
“I want to say a huge ‘thank you’ to everybody involved for their dedication to creating this book, and to everyone who contributed, too,” said Dan’s wife Susie. “The response has been truly incredible. It shows just how many people’s lives Dan touched, and is a wonderful legacy for our two boys, Sebastian and Oliver.”
