Editor's note: From Dec. 1 to Dec. 12, FOX Sports will be counting down the 12 craziest rides caught on video in 2015.
RC Enerson was lucky to walk away from an airborne crash during and Indy Lights race on the streets of Toronto in June.
The 18-year-old driver was battling Nelson Piquet Jr. for the lead when the two made contact in turn three.
Enerson’s Schmidt Peterson Motorsports race car flipped over backwards, narrowly avoiding contact with an overhead bridge before landing back on the circuit and sliding into and over a tire barrier in the turn three runoff.
Fortunately Enerson was OK and able to race again.
