Trey Canard finished in eighth place Saturday night at the East Rutherford Supercross at MetLife Stadium in N.J. In doing so, he heads into next weekend’s finale at Las Vegas ninth in the points.
However, the Honda rider was lucky just to even make the show, following an incredible wreck during practice:

While the bike was a bit beat up, Canard reported that he was OK and went on to compete in the rest of the night’s events. However, this photo - originally uploaded to Instagram by @hannahcanard41 - shows just how lucky he really was:
