Seventeen-year-old Pedro Piquet, son of three-time Formula One Champion Nelson Piquet and younger brother of FIA Formula E champion Nelson Piquet Jr., is an accomplished racer in his own right, winning the 2014 Brazilian Formula 3 Championship.
However, things didn’t go too well for the Brazilian last weekend in a Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge race in Goiania, Brazil, after an opening-lap crash saw him roll nine times.
Piquet suffered minor injuries to a hand along with some bruising, sharing this image from the hospital onto his Instagram account:
