One of the more significant impacts during the 53rd running of the Rolex 24 Hours took place at the start of the seventh hour, following a spin by the No. 51 Ferrari driven by Francois Perrodo.
Perrodo had spun off on the exit of Turn 6 after apparent contact with the No. 81 Porsche, and then attempted to rejoin the circuit in front of the No. 007 Aston Martin.
The Aston, driven by Brandon Davis, had nowhere to go and ran into Perrodo, significantly damaging both of the cars.
