Rally driver narrowly avoids collision with tractor during test

When you are a racing driver you have to keep an eye on a lot of different things: Your gauges, the weather, the racing line, and the other cars - just to name a few.
However, in rally driving, your awareness and reaction times need to be exemplified, as you never know what you’re going to come across coming out of a turn.
WRC racer Thierry Neuville was reminded of that the hard way during a test for the Rally Deutschland this week, when he had to slam on the brakes of his Hyundai i20 to avoid a tractor that was coming out of a field.
Fortunately, he was able to stop in time, and the frightened tractor driver backed up allowing Neuville to continue on his way.

Even on highest level with strict safety procedures and professional marshals the danger still exist. https://t.co/FaVaYBPR35 #call #112 :-)
