Nothing beats the experience of being at an actual motor race.

However, technology has improved leaps and bounds to try and give us the best at-track experience while sitting at our homes watching TV.

Yet one complaint we come across often is that the “sound” of the race is still different in person to how it comes through on the television.

19Bozzy92 has tried to combat this by purchasing a 3D/Binaural microphone which, as the uploader describes, “takes the stereo method one step further by placing two microphones approximately at the same average distance that exists between one and the other human ear.”

The result is that - if you put a set of headphones on - the sounds and the directions in which they are coming from almost perfectly simulated the actual at-track experience.

The video was shot at the Mugello Circuit in Italy, which is owned by Scuderia Ferrari.
