MotoGP: Dani Pedrosa owes $8.5 million in back taxes

MADRID (AP) -- Spain's tax office says MotoGP pilot Dani Pedrosa owes more than 7.8 million euros ($8.5 million) in back taxes.
Pedrosa was in a list published by Spain's tax office on Wednesday of individuals or companies which owe more than 1 million euros in back taxes.
Also included was former Barcelona football player Gabi Milito, who owes over 1.8 million euros, and former Real Madrid president Lorenzo Sanz, who owes more than 1.3 million euros.

The 30-year-old Pedrosa has 28 Moto Grand Prix wins. He currently races for Honda and finished fourth in the MotoGP rider points standings in 2015.
