Motocross star Doug Henry charged with public indecency

FARMINGTON, Conn. -- Former motocross champion Doug Henry has been charged with public indecency in Connecticut, where police say he exposed himself to two female construction workers.

The 45-year-old Henry was pulled over Tuesday afternoon in the western Connecticut town of Harwinton, several minutes after he passed the construction site in Farmington.

Police say he acknowledged exposing himself to the workers.

A phone call to his home in Torrington seeking comment Thursday morning went unanswered.

Henry is a member of the American Motorcycle Association Hall of Fame and a three-time AMA Pro Motocross champion. He became paralyzed from the waist down in a March 2007 crash and began racing adaptive snowmobiles in 2010.

Henry was released after posting a $2,500 bond is due in court on May 26.
