Justin Wilson says he has fully recovered from his wreck during the IndyCar series finale at Fontana last season.

Wilson and his team are excited for the 2014 season to get started as they head to St. Petersburg, a place where Wilson has scored two podiums, to start off this season. Wilson has never finished outside of the top ten in six starts here.

"I'm feeling pretty good," said Wilson, who fractured his pelvis in last season's Fontana crash, "I healed fast and got back to walking and cycling and training and doing everything that I was normally doing.

"It's been a long off season but I've just been training and getting ready for this year and focusing on how to get better and how to get faster."

This is not, however, Wilson's first time back behind a steering wheel in 2014. The Brit has already raced for Michael Shank Racing in the 2014 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring. This weekend, however, he will be behind the wheel of Dale Coyne Racing's No. 19 Boy Scouts of America Honda for the first of 18 races this season.

"We like the progress that we’ve made to the car and the work that the team is doing,” said Wilson. “It’s a complete new set of guys working with Michael Cannon, and that just keeps getting better and better every time we run. The Barber test was all about gelling as a team, coming together more than anything else, so I think that helps us going into St. Pete."
