The Monster Energy Supercross field is gearing up for its one race outside of the United States this weekend at the Rogers Centre, which will be shown LIVE at 7 p.m. ET Saturday night on FS1 and FOX Sports GO.

Martin Davalos, who would have been sporting the red plate in the 250SX East class this weekend, will not be able to maintain his points lead on Saturday as he will be unable to make the event. However, it’s not due to injury. Instead, the Husqvarna team has cited “personal reasons” as being the culprit, although it was made public also that Davalos, who is originally from Ecuador, was having issues with his Visa getting into and back out of Canada.

Davalos’ teammate Christophe Pourcel will also not be riding in the Toronto event after sustaining an arm injury in practice earlier in the week. Pourcel is, however, expected to return for the Detroit Supercross.

Following crashes in Daytona, 450SX riders James Stewart and Davi Millsaps will also sit out this Saturday’s event.

Stewart’s announcement comes following an opening-lap crash in his heat race which left him with a bruised back, while Millsaps’ comes following his last-lap crash during the Main event. Millsaps’ incident left him with broken ribs and a partially collapsed lung, and he is expected to be out for a couple of weeks.
