In motor racing terms, the Isle of Man is best known for the infamous TT, and is also well known for the challenging Manx Rally, which attracted many of the big names in rallying back in the day.
Less well known is the Peel Grand Prix, a go-kart race around the town of Peel that last ran in 2005. With drivers using bonkers shifter-karts around the bumpy and narrow streets, speeds of up to 130 mph were reached and it looks every bit as terrifying as it sounds in this fantastic onboard video.
Has any sane motorsport ever taken place on this tiny island?!
