Fernando Alonso, among other Honda racers from across the world, has been in Japan this week at a promotional event for the Japanese manufacturer.

While its F1 department may have not had a lot to celebrate, with the McLaren-Honda team finishing next to last in the 2015 constructor’s standings, Honda did see another successful season in MotoGP this year with Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa both adding winners trophies to their trophy cabinets.

While in Japan, Alonso was permitted to try out a variety of different racing machines from Honda’s garage, including one of its MotoGP bikes.

Alonso, 34, has been critical of Honda and Formula One in 2015, stating after Abu Dhabi that FIA WEC and MotoGP are currently more exciting than F1. Although Alonso has denied that he will take a sabbatical if the McLaren-Honda F1 car does not improve in 2016, we can’t help but wonder how many wheels Alonso will be riding on if he decides to continue his racing career post-F1.
