F1: American Rossi on entry list for Russian GP after Bianchi crash

There has been no official announcement from Marussia yet, but the FIA entry list for the Russian GP, published at 4:35 p.m. local time on Thursday, features Alex Rossi in car number 42.
The team has built up its spare chassis and the car is available for the American to make his Grand Prix debut, just a fortnight before his home race in Austin. However, the team will make a final decision on Friday morning.
Rossi would run as a teammate to Max Chilton, after Marussia driver Jules Bianchi was injured in a crash at Suzuka last weekend.
Rossi, who ran in FP1 in Spa, took part in the team’s track walk earlier today.
Giving Rossi his chance will clearly give the whole team something positive on which to focus at what is obviously a difficult time for all concerned.
