While F1 driver Fernando Alonso was barrel-rolling through the gravel at Sunday’s Australian GP, Stephen Bond found himself in a just-as-scary crash at the 74th annual Goodwood members’ meeting.

Coming out of the final chicane, the car in front of Bond - driven by Richard Wilson - runs off track and then slides back on, clipping Bond and sending his 1961 Lotus-Climax 18 off into a series of flips, until it came to a rest in a pedestrian tunnel next to the track.

Fortunately, no one was in the tunnel at the time and Bond escaped with nothing more than a broken collarbone.
