360 video: Ride onboard a Ford GT around the Silverstone Circuit

The Chip Ganassi Racing Team is fielding two Ford GTs in the FIA World Endurance Championship for the first time this weekend.

Based out of England, the two cars competing in the international series are different from the two cars competing in the U.S.-based IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

The 2016 FIA WEC season kicked off on Sunday at Silverstone Circuit in England with the Six Hours of Silverstone.

In the build-up to the event, the team attached a camera to one of its machines for a 360-degree experience of the 3.66-mile, 18-turn circuit.
