Sporting Kansas City wrapped up a 10-game road trip by taking points from Toronto FC with a 0-0 tie Saturday night.

Sporting KC has been away from home while its new stadium is built. The club will open Livestrong Sporting Park on Thursday night against the Chicago Fire.

Toronto FC rebounded from a 6-2 loss at home to the Philadelphia Union.

Maicon Santos had two nice chances on KC goalkeeper Eric Kronberg in the first 15 minutes of the second half and substitute Doneil Henry almost stole a winner in injury time with an accurate header.

Sporting KC didn't threaten much until Teal Bunbury right-footed a shot from long range in the 70th. The Canadian-born Bunbury was booed with every touch. The American citizen has chosen to play for the United States instead of Canada.
