The Los Angeles Galaxy is the only unbeaten team in Major League Soccer after beating the Columbus Crew 2-0 on Saturday in a clash of the respective conference leaders.
Michael Stephens and Tristan Bowen both scored their first MLS goals in the first half for Los Angeles, which hasn't conceded in 456 minutes.
The Galaxy have allowed two goals overall and none while going 5-1-0 on the road. They haven't lost in 14 regular-season games since September and are already ten points clear atop the Western Conference.

In Santa Clara, Dwayne De Rosario scored two second-half goals to help Toronto stretch its unbeaten streak to four games, winning at San Jose.
De Rosario scored for Toronto in the 66th minute, then sealed the victory with a shot into an empty net in the final minute. De Rosario has eight goals this season, second in Major League Soccer behind Edson Buddle of Los Angeles.
Toronto's Chad Barrett opened the scoring in the 31st minute, ending San Jose goalie Joe Cannon's streak of 393 minutes without conceding.
San Jose left back Ramiro Corrales pulled a goal back in the 76th for the hosts.
In Commerce City, Conor Casey scored a second-half goal to give Colorado victory over Seattle.
Rapids goalkeeper Matt Pickens posted his third clean sheet of the season.
It was the fifth time this season that Seattle has been held goalless. The Sounders have a Western Conference-low nine goals.
In Sandy, Fabian Espindola and Alvaro Saborio scored three minutes apart in the first half to set up Real Salt Lake's win over Kansas City - a franchise-record fifth straight victory.
Robbie Russell and Ned Grabavoy also scored for the defending MLS champions, who improved to 6-1-3 for the best start in franchise history. The victory also extended Real's regular-season home winning streak to 15 games.
Josh Woolff scored for the Wizards, who have gone seven games without a win.
In Foxboro, Zach Schilawski's headed goal gave New England a home victory over nine-man New York.
The Red Bulls had defender Carlos Mendes sent off in the 56th minute for a rugged foul and midfielder Roy Miller was shown the red card for the same offence in the 75th minute.
New England's victory was its first in eight games, against a favored opponent - the Revolution is 8-6-0 in their past 14 against New York. However the win was soured by a broken leg suffered by goalkeeper Preston Burpo late in the first half.
In a seesawing contest New England went ahead in the eighth minute through Marko Perovic. Seth Stammler equalized for New York in the 20th, only for a Tim Ream own goal to put the hosts back in front four minutes later.
Former Aston Villa striker Juan Pablo Angel headed New York level again early in the second half, before Schilawski's 79th minute winner.
The Red Bulls suffered their fourth straight loss, allowing 11 goals over that span.
In Houston, second-half substitute Danny Mwanga scored three minutes into stoppage time, as Philadelphia came from behind to beat Houston and record the club's first ever road win.
Sebastien Le Toux drove down the right side and cut into the box before feeding Mwanga in the middle of the area. Mwanga did the rest, driving home the winner.
Philadelphia's win spoiled the return of Houston forward Brian Ching, who was cut from the U.S. squad for the World Cup. Ching entered the game as a sub to start the second half and paid immediate dividends, tying the game 1-1 in the 52nd minute after Shea Salinas had put the visitors ahead in the 39th.
Eddie Robinson headed Houston in front in the 58th minute, only for Le Toux to equalize in the 69th and then set up the historic winner.
In Washington, Carey Talley converted a stoppage time penalty past defender-turned-goalkeeper Dario Delgado to lift D.C. United over Chivas.
The meeting of the bottom teams in the two conferences delivered plenty of excitement.
Justin Braun opened the scoring for Chivas in the 15th minute, with teenage midfielder Andy Najar equalizing for the hosts 10 minutes later.
Adam Cristman put D.C. ahead in the 75th but Maykel Galindo pulled Chivas level in the 80th.
The decisive moment came when Chivas goalkeeper Zach Thornton was sent off for his challenge on D.C.'s Santino Quaranta, and Talley slotted home the winner.
Chivas has lost four straight.
