In Commerce City, Colorado, Juan Pablo Angel's ninth goal of the season secured a draw for New York at Colorado in a rain-drenched game.
Angel scored in the 34th minute off an assist from Sinisa Ubiparipovic.
Colorado, playing at home for the first time in a month, opened the scoring in the 15th minute with Omar Cummings' fourth goal of the season.
