Glidden withdraws Columbus Crew shirt sponsorship

The paint-maker Glidden has ended its shirt sponsorship deal with Major League Soccer's Columbus Crew after three seasons.

Crew president Mark McCullers told The Columbus Dispatch that even though the shirt deal had ended, the team expected Glidden to remain as a Columbus sponsor.

The shirt agreement had been worth $1 million annually, the Sports Business Journal had reported.
