FC Dallas has signed 31-year-old Brazilian midfielder Ricardo Villar from Spielvereinigung Unterhaching of the German third division.
Villar played from Penn State from 1997-01 after playing youth soccer at Sao Paulo. He was with Hampton Roads and Pittsburgh in the U.S. A-League from 2002-04, then played for Austria Salzburg, South Korea's Chunnam Dragons and Kaiserslautern. He was with Spielvereinigung from 2006-09, then went to Greece's Rodos in 2009 before returning to Spielvereinigung.
