FC Dallas 2, Chivas USA 1

Brek Shea and Jackson Gonclaves scored to lift FC Dallas to a 2-1 win over Chivas USA on Saturday.
Dallas (8-4-4) scored the winning goal when second-half substitute Gonclaves beat his marker and played in a ball that was bounced off the far post and into the net in the 85th minute.
Despite Dallas controlling much of the match, Chivas USA (4-6-5) was able to find the equalizer in the 71st minute when Chivas USA defender Michael Lahoud fired a shot that deflected off FC Dallas defender George John and into the net.
Shea opened the scoring in the 22nd minute after beating a defender and firing in a shot that was too much for Chivas USA goalkeeper Dan Kennedy, the goal was sixth of the season for Shea.
The match was chippy with five yellow cards given out as the teams battled around the field.
