Beckham will plan next move with family

MLS star David Beckham said the happiness of his family will dictate his next move once his contract with LA Galaxy expires at the end of the season.

Beckham, 36, told the French press Wednesday he was "flattered" by interest from Paris St. Germain, whose sporting director Leonardo he worked with twice during loan spells at Italian soccer giant AC Milan.

But the former England captain said his focus was on finishing the season strongly with the Galaxy.

"[Leonardo's] a great sporting director and a wonderful person," Beckham told sports.fr. "I'm flattered that he wants me to come [and] join him and the team in Paris. But I'm a Galaxy player, I live in Los Angeles, I am happy there and I play for them."

Tottenham and Queen's Park Rangers could both offer Beckham a return to the English Premier League, with clubs from Brazil and the Middle East also interested in signing one of the sport's most recognizable names.

But after fathering his fourth child, Beckham suggested he would be reluctant to relocate from Los Angeles.

"[My family] is the number one priority, family comes first and where they are happy is where I stay, it's that simple," he said. "My children go to school in LA and have done for five years. They are at the age where stability is important, so we'll see. I always said I will wait until the end of the season, see how I feel physically and then decide."

Beckham added, "There is no urgency on my part obviously. It is important that I focus on the rest of the season. We should make the playoffs, we still have two [games] to go and I will focus on the season and worry about the rest later."
