INDIANAPOLIS (AP) The head of an Indianapolis gymnastics academy charged with four counts of child molestation and three counts of sexual misconduct with a minor has made an initial court appearance.
A judge entered a not guilty plea Wednesday for 48-year-old Marvin Sharp. He's being held without bond in the Marion County Jail.
Sharp said little during the brief hearing. Defense attorney Jim Voyles told Marion Superior Court Judge Mark Stoner said he intended to file motions related to Sharp's potential release from custody.
Voyles did not comment after the hearing.

Sharp also faces federal charges.
Authorities allege Sharp repeatedly fondled a girl while he was her coach and accumulated thousands of explicit images of children.
