Tiger Woods just can't help being a punch line.
On Jimmy Fallon's NBC "Late Night" show Thursday night, the host got laughs quickly by asking the legendary Lothario and golfer, "It's been a year and a half since you've been on our show. Whadya been up to?"
The former world No. 1 golfer gamely took the role of straight man and replied, "Uh, nothing, nothing. Playing bad golf."
Fallon replied, "Thank you for having the courage to come on a late-night comedy program, because it must have been a painful and awful situation, the whole thing you went through, but from a comedian's standpoint and my monologue writers, thank you! So much! It kind of wrote itself. I mean, balls, shafts, holes, foursomes . . . Thank you! Thank you!"
