    Two stats that might help explain why Lydia Ko split with David Leadbetter (read here): Having recently changed caddie and also reportedly set to the change clubs for next season, world no.1 Lydia Ko has made a further dramatic by cutting ties with coach David Leadbetter.

    Rory McIlroy impressed by Tiger Woods’ return: “He looked happy” (read here): With the whole world of golf watching Tiger’s return in the Bahamas last week, Rory McIlroy and Padraig Harrington were among the fellow pros and major champions to speak out about being impressed with what they saw.

    Finally, a rules change we absolutely love (read here): The USGA and R&A jointly announced that the rule that imposed a penalty for a ball that a player accidentally moves on the green will be changed, hopefully eliminating any further chance of the drama we saw Dustin Johnson suffer through at the U.S. Open.
