Tiger Woods isn’t the only golfer going public with a femme fatale blonde this week. Arnold Palmer seems to be doing pretty well himself, placing a smooch on the cheek of Sports Illustrated cover girl and super model Kate Upton in Florida.
Palmer is playing host to his annual stop on the PGA Tour, the Arnold Palmer Bay Hill Classic, and Upton was in town to have dinner with the longtime king of swing.
She also will take part in a social media campaign involving the "Arnold Palmer" drink.
How’d Palmer swing that date? Palmer played golf with the father of Upton's manager, Lisa Benson. Years ago, Palmer set up an interview for Benson at IMG, the international sports/entertainment management firm, and she got the job. Benson later aligned with Upton.
Upton seems to have a thing for righties. She been connected with Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander and had been linked previously with New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez.
Meanwhile the supermodel may change gears from senior citizens to high school students. Jake Davidson, a high school senior in Los Angeles, filmed a video inviting the 20-year-old supermodel to his prom. It is approaching 1.2 million views as of this writing.
The life of a supermodel can be so taxing. Dinner with Arnold Palmer or a high school prom? Fortunately, Upton doesn’t have to choose. She can do whatever she wants.
