NORTH BERWICK, Scotland (AP) Alex Noren advanced to the Paul Lawrie Match Play final with a 3 and 2 defeat of James Morrison on Saturday.

The Swede went 4 up after 7 holes at Archerfield before losing Nos. 9 and 10.

Noren faces Anthony Wall in Sunday's final after the Englishman sank a tricky putt to beat countryman Oliver Fisher on the fourth playoff hole.

Noren has been favorite following the exits of top-seeded Chris Wood and Matt Fitzpatrick in the round of 16. He is chasing his second European Tour win in Scotland in the space of a month after winning the Scottish Open at Castle Stuart in July.

Earlier Saturday, Noren defeated compatriot Johan Carlsson 4 and 2 in the quarterfinals with an eagle on No. 6.

''It was one of those days where everything goes your way,'' Noren said after beating Carlsson.

Wall finished 2 up against South African Haydn Porteous in the quarterfinals.
