Stacy Lewis held a one-shot lead at the US Women's Open on Friday when play in the second round was suspended because of thunderstorms.

Lewis was 4 under par on the 12th hole when the sirens sounded. She led I.K. Kim and Ryann O'Toole by one shot. Another shot back was amateur Amy Anderson, who won't start her second round until Saturday.

Lewis won the Kraft Nabisco earlier this year and is putting herself in position to win her second major of the season. Yani Tseng, who won the LPGA Championship last month and is trying to complete the career Grand Slam, was 3 over par with seven holes left.
