World No. 1 Jason Day has always struggled to remain healthy throughout his career, and his recurring back problems struck again Sunay during the final round of the BMW Championship. Day played eight holes Sunday at Crooked Stick Golf Club and dropped from 5-under for the tournament to 3-under - miles behind leader Dustin Johnson - before pulling out altogether.

According to the PGA Tour, Day's injury is a minor one he is trying to control.

Day fortunately was able to walk off the course normally. Back in March, Day hobbled off the course after tweaking his back, but managed to return the following day.
