FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (AP) Brett Stegmaier has withdrawn from The Barclays with a wrist injury, ending his season.

In his first full season on the PGA Tour, the 33-year-old Stegmaier had three top 10s, including a runner-up finish in Las Vegas last October. He was at No. 101 in the FedEx Cup standings. The withdrawal means he will not be among the top 100 who advance to the next playoff event.

Stegmaier was coming off a tie for fifth last week in the Wyndham Championship. He played nine holes Thursday at Bethpage Black before pulling out.
