I'm coming to get you: Rory McIlroy's childhood letter issued challenge to Tiger Woods

The wording remains unclear, but the point seems downright prophetic.
The inexact words in a letter written by a 9-year-old Rory McIlroy and directed to a then-23-year-old Tiger Woods emerged this week from deep within a McIlroy profile written by New York Times Magazine's Charles Siebert.
One particularly interesting anecdote in Siebert’s intriguing piece, "Rory McIlroy has the Best Swing in Golf," tells of a letter written by McIlroy in 1999 that suggested he had already started the chase for Woods. The excerpt from Siebert’s story reads:
No one can recall the note’s precise wording, but its general thrust, as Brian McIlroy, Rory’s uncle and godfather, paraphrased in an email, put Woods on notice: “I’m coming to get you. This is the beginning. Watch this space.”
The quote, according to Siebert, was later confirmed -- rather, McIlroy agreed that it “went something like that.”
McIlroy, now the World No. 1, will continue to chase the elusive Masters victory next week, a title that would give him the career grand slam. Woods’ spot in the tournament remains unconfirmed, but he was spotted in Augusta on Tuesday, and his agent confirmed he played 18 holes. Woods dropped out of the top 100 in the Official World Golf Ranking earlier this week.
Given that situation, the theme of McIlroy’s letter all those years ago becomes even more compelling.
