How and when to watch the second day of the U.S. Open Friday

Published Jun. 17, 2016 12:42 a.m. ET

Dozens of golfers never stepped on a tee box Thursday at the U.S. Open, as bands of storms repeatedly delayed play and eventually forced the USGA to suspend the round entirely - but sunny skies are in the forecast and the world's best players have a lot of in store Friday for the first and second rounds.

Round 1 play will resume at 7:30 a.m. ET at Oakmont. Televised coverage of the U.S. Open will begin at 10:00 a.m. ET on Fox Sports 1. Coverage will shift to Fox at 5:00 p.m. ET.

Unfortunately for the golfers who waited for their tee time all day, the weather delays mean they'll attempt to play 36 grueling holes Friday, time permitting.
