Royal Troon has proved to be fairly easy to navigate during the first round of the Open Championship. That is, if you hit fairways and avoid coffin bunkers surrounding the greens. If not, it can be a challenge just to make par.
Emiliano Grillo found the deep fescue on the 13th hole and was just hoping to make up-and-down for par to remain at 1-over. Instead, he hit a brilliant shot that tracked all the way to the hole, dropping for a miraculous birdie.

As was noted on the broadcast, this shot likely saved Grillo two shots on his round because he very well could have made bogey or worse had it not hit the flagstick.
