Luke Donald's late eagle helped secure a one-shot victory over Rhys Davies at the Madrid Masters on Sunday.
Level with Davies heading onto the 16th hole, England's Donald claimed the sole lead after hitting his approach shot from 252 yards to within 12 feet of the pin, before sinking his eagle putt.
Donald sealed his first title since 2006 when his Welsh rival missed a chance to take it to a sudden-death playoff by missing a 20-foot putt at the last.
Donald carded a final-day 5-under 67 to finish on 21-under (267). Davies shot a 68 while Italian player Francesco Molinari (68) finished three shots back.
