Bubba Watson selfishly loves the Donald Trump media circus

The first WGC event of 2016 will be played this weekend at Trump National Doral in Florida, and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is expected to make an appearance during the tournament, something Bubba Watson is looking forward to.
Watson said Wednesday that Trump's visit to a PGA Tour event in the middle of a presidential race would cause such a ruckus that the media would overlook his own (often polarizing) antics. Watson was notably booed by the crowd at the Phoenix Open earlier this year after saying before the event that he was only there because of his sponsors.

The PGA Tour, meanwhile, is likely dreading Trump's arrival. The organization publicly denounced Trump for his controversial comments on Mexican immigrants last July, and canceled the 2015 Grand Slam of Golf, which was set to be held at Trump National Los Angeles. The WGC event at Doral could potentially be moved away from the course in 2017, according to the Golf Channel, if it changes title sponsors.
Rory McIlroy isn't too concerned about the Donald.
