A Twitter tradition like no other

The social media world was up and tweeting away early on Sunday. After an abnormally busy Saturday (thanks to the controversy surrounding Tiger's drop on 15 on Friday), there was no abnormally quiet Sunday. And the day started with players sounding off on final-round hole locations:
Looking at today's pins there is a definite 65/66 out there so you can look as far down the leaderboard as -2 perhaps moby.to/uobux0

Another player channeled his inner Eminem with an observation on co-leader Brandt Snedeker:
Snedeker: He's nervous, but on the surface he looks calm and ready...to drop Bombs. #Masters

The Solheim Cup captain took time out from celebrating her 50th birthday in Hawaii to share her Masters Sunday breakfast view:

A top amateur shared her rooting interest for the day:
Calling it. My boy Brandt is going to take it all #TheMasters instagram.com/p/X9xV_DwN-w/

And she wished the aforementioned Solheim Cup captain a happy birthday:

But we didn't entirely avoid Dropgate, as last year's US Open champ chimed in on the weekend's hottest topic:
But star of the day emerged once play was completed at Augusta. Almost as quickly as Angel Cabrera was doling out a hug on the 10th green, pro and top amateur golfers were quick to line up their congratulatory posts on social media for new Masters champ Adam Scott, who broke through for his first major championship. Here's a sampling from their Twitter accounts:
What happened today I observed in the eyes of Adam when he was 15. He deserves everything he gets from this win. Proud of him & #australia.
