MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) Britain's Peter Kennaugh and Chris Froome retain the top-two placings on general classification entering Sunday's final stage of the Herald-Sun Cycle Tour.
American sprinter John Murphy won Saturday's 146.2 kilometer (89 mile) stage from Traralgon to Inverloch in a bunch sprint. But Kennaugh preserved a 13 second overall lead from his Sky teammate, two-time Tour de France Champion Froome, who finished among the peleton to stay second overall ahead of Sunday's queen stage.
Less than a minute separates the top-10 riders on general classification.
Sunday's final stage features three climbs of Arthurs Seat on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria state, including a summit finish.
