REVEL, France (AP) French rider Brice Feillu has attacked from the start as the Tour de France peloton left the Pyrenees after its first rest day.

Defending champion Chris Froome has the yellow jersey with a 16-second lead over Adam Yates, with Irish rider Dan Martin in third place, 19 seconds behind.

Stage 10 takes the 193 riders left in the race from Escaldes-Engordany in Andorra on a 197-kilometer trek to Revel in the south of France. The course starts with a 24-kilometer climb to the Port d'Envalira, the highest climb of this year's Tour at 2,408 meters.

The remainder of the stage is mainly flat but features a small climb a few kilometers before the finish line, which could favor late attacks.
