Former Florida State Seminoles star quarterback Jameis Winston might have made his first rookie mistake before ever taking a snap in an NFL game.

On Wednesday, it was revealed that former Seminoles passer, who was taken No. 1 overall in this year's draft by Tampa Bay, was asked who he is most looking forward to playing this year while filming a “Rookie Confessional” for NFL.com, and his brash answer took some by surprise.

"The player I'm most looking forward to play against has to be, probably J.J. Watt," Winston said. "We play them Week 3 in Houston I believe. It's going to be a fun matchup."

Its a safe bet that a lot of other NFL quarterbacks probably felt their meetings with Watt were not so much “fun.”  In 2014, Watt was named the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year after tallying 20.5 sacks and scoring two defensive touchdowns.

Give Winston credit for wanting to compete against the best, but the rookie should be careful what he wishes for.
