With BYU matchup looming, how much has Michigan improved since season-opener?

Michigan didn't necessarily look like much of a threat in its season opener against Utah, but after two solid performances later, they seem to be much better than they were that Thursday night.

The defense, in particular, is cause for concern for BYU. Can Tanner Mangum carve up a Jim Harbaugh defense?

Harbaugh, for his part, certainly is wary of BYU's ability.

"This will be a great test for our team — very excited about the competition,” Harbaugh said. “It will be a great gauge for where our team is at right now."

BYU knows what Michigan is going to try to do: run the ball down their throats.

“They’re going to try to hit you in the mouth early,” said BYU receiver Terenn Houk.

It should be a fun, physical matchup.
