Wisconsin-Whitewater defeats Wesley 27-7

Levell Coppage rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns and Wisconsin-Whitewater had five interceptions to take a 27-7 victory over Wesley in a Division III semifinal on Saturday.

The Warhawks (14-0) will play Mount Union in next Saturday's Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl for the sixth consecutive year. Wisconsin-Whitewater won in 2009 and '07 and Mount Union won in 2005, '06 and '08.

Coppage scored both of his touchdowns on 1-yard runs in the third quarter to give Wisconsin-Whitewater a 24-7 lead with 3:01 left in the quarter.

Wesley's Justin Sottilare was 24 of 43 for 256 yards, but threw all five interceptions and was sacked four times. Wisconsin-Whitewater also held the Wolverines (12-1) to minus-7 yards rushing on 19 attempts.

Jared Kiesow had two interceptions for the Warhawks.

Jeff Morgan had two interceptions for Wesley, which was 3 of 14 on third-down conversions.
