Wes Lunt listed as having one of the strongest arms in CFB

A common phrase you hear in football is "that quarterback can make all the throws."
Typically what that means is that the quarterback in question posses a strong arm. You don't have to have a rocket arm like Cam Newton to play the position well, but it certainly doesn't hurt. NFL.com came out with the strongest arms in College Football and Illini quarterback Wes Lunt checked in at number eight:
"Lunt developed a reputation for having a cannon back in high school, and that same arm has been one of the few bright spots for the Illini when he's on the field. He can launch the ball down the field as easy as he can drill a quick slant. Lunt has prototypical size for a pro-style QB, and the right arm to match."
Lunt has yet to fully capitalize on his potential at Illinois due to injuries but if he is able to stay healthy, it will go a long way to helping the Illini take another step forward.
