Football is a violent game and sometimes brutally so.
Everyone who puts on pads and plays understands that.
But it's not supposed to be a violent game for coaches.

During the Camellia Bowl, South Alabama coach Joey Jones tried to stop the tumble of a player going out of bounds when he caught a hellacious kick to the face:

Oh my. Let's take a look in slow motion:
Ouch!
The kick left Jones bloody and possibly with a broken nose.

Even worse: South Alabama lost to Bowling Green, 33-28.
