Watch OL prospect Perez flip from Cal to UCLA on signing day

As signing day approached, offensive line prospect Francisco "Paco" Perez decided it was the better decision to stay closer to home.

A native of Southern California, the one-time Cal commitment decided to flip his commitment from the Golden Bears to UCLA on Wednesday.
Perez is a mauler of an offensive guard. His game is predicated upon a physical and nasty disposition. Unsurprisingly, he thrives in run-blocking situations.
Perez becomes the third offensive line pledge in UCLA's current class. With starting linemen Jake Brendel, Alex Redmond, and Caleb Benenoch all departing for the NFL, there's certainly an opportunity for Perez to come in and compete for playing time right away.
