WATCH: High school coach headbutts player still wearing his helmet

Rush Propst rose to prominence as the coach of Hoover (Ala.) High School, whose nationally renowned football team was featured on MTV's "Two-A-Days" series in 2005 and '06. Even beyond the team's success, Propst was in the spotlight frequently in connection with some eligibility controversy at Hoover and allegations of extramarital affairs.
But he's in the news this weekend for a different reason. Propst, now the coach at Colquitt County High School in Georgia, got a little fired up Friday during a state semifinal game. With Colquitt County leading 21-14, Propst, while yelling at one of his players, stepped forward and headbutted the player, who was still wearing his helmet.
Watch it below:
After the incident, blood could be seen running down Propst's forehead. It remains to be seen whether Propst will face any discipline after the game, which resulted in a 52-31 win and a trip to the state title game for Colquitt County.
Similar incidents have occurred in the past with former South Florida coach Jim Leavitt as well as Texans linebacker Brian Cushing, but neither of those headbutts was done in anger.
