Watch: Ereck Flowers throws out first pitch at Mets game

Miami product Ereck Flowers is quickly becoming a big star in The Big Apple. After being selected ninth-overall by the New York Giants, the Mets asked him to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before a game against the Washington Nationals.

Flowers doesn't normally throw the football, but he showed off a sure arm on the mound. Watch the video of him tossing the celebrated baseball pitch below.

The Mets went on to beat the Nationals, 4-0, so maybe some of Flowers' luck similarly rubs off on the Giants.
