Punters are often the last thing separating the kicking team from a touchdown being returned on them.
So when punters take that responsibility seriously, it's an honorable thing.
It also always has a chance to go very, very bad.

Unfortunately, that's what happened for Central Michigan punter Ron Coluzzi on Saturday against Purdue.
Coluzzi stuck his nose in and tried to tackle Purdue's Frankie Williams on a return.
This happened:

Hey -- he made the play!
Hopefully the good-natured laughs in the film room this week are followed by high-fives for the effort.
