Wagner has no trouble with Concordia (Mich) in 38-0 win

NEW YORK (AP) Alex Thompson completed 18 of his 27 passes for 239 yards and two touchdowns and Wagner rolled over NAIA Concordia University (Michigan) 38-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Denzel Knight finished with 104 yards and a touchdown rushing for Wagner (2-0), and John Williams caught two passes for 56 yards and a score. The Seahawks held a decided advantage in total yards, racking up 364 while holding Concordia to just 116.
Knight sprinted 71 yards to the end zone in the opening minute for the first score of the game. Andre Yevchinecz added a 77 yard punt return midway through the second quarter and the Seahawks led 28-0 at halftime.
Seth Suida threw for 44 yards and Joe Conner had 34 yards on the ground to lead Concordia.
The game was Wagner's first ever against an NAIA school, and its first ever against a school from the state of Michigan.
